Berlin, August 15, 2022 – The mobile banking app Vivid today announced a cooperation with the Berlin-based fintech Vantik to continue customer accounts. Vantik customers will be redirected directly to the Vivid app via the Vantik app and can transfer their existing Vantik funds to their Vivid account in just a few clicks after opening an account. Vivid will continue to offer services that are popular with Vantik customers, such as cashback and free cards. After Vantik had to file for insolvency in June of this year, the fintech is now shutting down its business operations entirely. Investment assets held by clients can be transferred to the digital asset management company Evergreen.

At Vantik, customers received 1 per cent cashback on card transactions via a free debit card, which was invested directly in the form of ETF for pensions. As of today, all Vantik customers can enjoy again the usual services, which can no longer be offered due to Vantik's insolvency proceedings, on the mobile banking app Vivid. The onboarding process (KYC process) for Vivid starts via the Vantik app. In just a few minutes, Vantik users can open a Vivid account and instantly transfer any remaining funds to their new account. With Vivid, Vantik customers receive the popular features known from the old service, such as a free debit card and increased cashback.
