Berlin, November 9, 2020 – Vivid Money, the mobile financial platform for banking, saving and investing, is now offering its financial services in France. Following its successful launch in Germany in June 2020, Vivid Money is now making its simple, secure and fast products available to users in a second European market. Vivid Money products will soon be available in other parts of Europe.

Free bank account, Shared Pockets, Cashback, Champions program and much more
French customers of Vivid-Money also benefit from a free current account, easy to create sub-accounts - so-called "Pockets" - with their own IBAN and an attractive cashback program. Users receive up to €100 cashback per month on purchases from popular brands such as Sephora, Nocibe and Biocoop, as well as international services such as Netflix, Spotify, etc. Like in Germany, all customers can use the free Visa Metal debit card for secure payments and cash withdrawals with the Standard account.

"After our very successful start in Germany, bank customers in France now also receive our secure and convenient banking services,” says Alexander Emeshev, Co-Founder of Vivid Money. "We want to make our customers' financial matters as simple and straightforward as possible - from spending to saving to investing. After only six months, we have impressed our customers with various new features. From simple money transfers with Vivid Pay, mobile payments with Google Pay and Apple Pay to shared sub-accounts with Shared Pockets. We are only at the beginning of Vivid Money's incredible journey and we are all the more pleased that French users can now participate in shaping this journey.

Vivid Money is available in France with the same product variety as in Germany. New customers receive Vivid Prime free of charge for the first three months. After that, they can choose between the free Vivid standard account or the premium version Vivid Prime with exclusive cashbacks of up to €100 and a higher contingent of cash withdrawls for €9.90 per month. Besides, users in France will have the opportunity to participate in the Champion Cashback program, organize their finances in free sub-accounts with their own IBAN (called Pockets) and exchange money in over 100 currencies free of charge.

Many new features and the start of the Series A funding round
Since its official launch in Germany in June 2020, the banking platform has regularly expanded its functions. With Subscription Control, Vivid Pay and Shared Pockets, Vivid Money combines all daily banking requirements in one app.  With Vivid Pay, customers can easily and securely transfer money to any other bank account via a generated link. Invoices can also be shared with Vivid customers and non-customers. The AI-supported Subscription Control feature recognizes subscription payments so that users can see an overview of their current subscriptions and regular payments. Shared Pockets allows Vivid users to share sub-accounts, called Pockets, each with their own IBAN, with friends and family and to make transactions using their own Vivid Visa debit cards. Besides, Vivid Money enables all users to enjoy the benefits of mobile payment with Google Pay and Apple Pay. Recently Vivid Money started its Series A funding round with Ribbit Capital and is now valued at 100 million Euro.
