Berlin, February 9, 2024 – Vivid's vision of offering all Europeans solutions to manage and grow their wealth is now becoming reality. Today, the European financial platform is announcing its expansion into 23 additional EU countries and is now offering the Vivid app across Europe. All new customers now receive all Vivid services from a single source, including cards and accounts. Vivid is also expanding its product range to include a frequently requested feature: SEPA Instant.
Europe-wide expansion
Just a few months after the launch of Vivid in its home market of Germany, the financial platform expanded its services to other European countries. Starting with France, Spain and Italy quickly followed. This expansion course is now being continued in one fell swoop, with 23 more countries in the European Union. All new customers will enjoy the unique benefit of a wide range of financial products and functions - all from a single source offered by Vivid. By acquiring its own license, Vivid now provides financial services such as issuing cards and managing accounts.
Customers across Europe can now grow their money with Vivid by receiving up to 4 percent cashback on transactions of their choice, for example. This is paid out in either Stock Rewards or Crypto Rewards, allowing customers to increase their cashback with the most popular stocks or cryptocurrencies. Of course, the popular Pocket structure (sub-accounts), each with its own German IBAN, is also included. In addition, new customers can manage their financial life now with even more Pockets and cards. This means that Vivid customers throughout Europe will be able to create dozens of more sub-accounts and virtual and physical VISA cards.
Lightning-fast real-time transfers are now available
With the introduction of real-time transfers, Vivid responds to customer requests for even more flexible and faster transfers directly in the Vivid app without third-party providers. Thanks to SEPA Instant, payments can now be made in real-time, i.e., shopping online or person-to-person transactions (P2P) can be made directly and securely in the Vivid app as an alternative to third-party providers.
While additional fees of several euros are often charged for real-time transfers, SEPA Instant is now used by default for transfers at Vivid. Only if the recipient account does not support SEPA Instant will the conventional transfer method be used. Real-time transfers are completely free of charge for all Vivid customers. There are no additional costs.
"Thanks to our own platform and licenses, we can now develop and offer products for everyday financial life quicker and even more flexibly. We have received messages almost daily from people in Poland, Romania, Ireland and many more countries asking when we will finally offer Vivid in their country. Today, the time has finally come and everyone can manage and grow their money with Vivid," says Alexander Kotov, Head of Vivid Personal.
Vivid's expansion follows the Europe-wide launch of Vivid Business for SMEs. At the beginning of the year, Vivid completed the acquisition of Luxembourg-based fintech Joompay. Vivid took over the entire team as well as the fintech's technology platform and license.
